This club was charted on May 4th, 1966 with a total of twenty-two members and currently has thirty-four members.
These club members have put in countless volunteer hours and have had many projects and events, too numerous to mention, that they have sponsored.
They have given over 1.6 million dollars to organizations in our communities and the world, in the past eighteen years alone.
Their building of the Foothills Lions Club Family Spray Park was no easy feat; three years of fundraising and hard work has bought this Park to completion for all our families in the Diamond Valley Region to enjoy. Bravo!! dear Foothills Lions, we are so proud of you and your desire to make this a better place to live.
The international motto for all Lions is We Serve and they have certainly served out communities phenomenally. These dedicated Lions give from the heart and we salute them. Without service organizations like them so many groups would go without.
The Foothills Lions Club are a group of people who are dedicated, hard work and caring, wonderful individuals. We are so proud of them. Our hats go off to this amazing Foothills Lions Club and we want to congratulate them for their great, enormous accomplishments over the last 50 years.
