The 4th Annual Duck Derby was held last Saturday, June 3rd, following the Diamond Valley Parade.

Lions Doug Robertson and Barry Crane announced the winners and phoned them.

The winners were: First Duck out of the shoot – 0052 – Ron Wilson from Turner Valley and Last Duck out was 1201 purchased by Kendra Jones of Longview.  Congratulations to you both for winning $1,000 each.

The event was close to a sell out with close to $9,000 in ticket sales thanks to the participation of three local schools, Longview, Millarville and Turner Valley who sold the majority of the tickets.  Also thanks to Lion James Lozinsky for walking the Parade Route and selling even more tickets.

These three schools will receive a third of the net proceeds each.
