Lion James Lee Receives Recognition at October 17th Dinner Meeting

Lion James received recognition from two of our special guests at our monthly dinner meeting, on October 17th .

The first was from Lion Glenn Robertson, Zone 8 Chairperson, who was making an informal visit to get to know our club better.

Lion Glenn presented Lion James with a Lions Centennial Pin for introducing a new member during our 100th year of Lionism which is helping our club to grow.

The second presentation was from Lion Tony Prettegiani, 2nd Vice District Governor Elect, of the North Hill Lions Club.

The plaque was presented to Lion James as Chairman of CLERC  (Canadian Lions Eyeglass Recycling Centre) by Tony P. from a member of his club, North Hill Lions, who lauded the efforts of Lions in District C-2 for our efforts in shipping glasses to 92 Third World countries and closing in on 5 million pairs since 2004. The poem has very touching words.
