It is with respect and humility that we remember Foothills Lions Club member, Don Thomson. Foothills Lions Club Treasurer (FLC), Calgary Heritage Park Volunteer, Millarville Racing and Ag Society Volunteer, Valley Neighbours Senior Club Secretary, Millarville 1/2 Marathon liaison…..you begin to see a pattern.
We had a fun and successful Interclub, with over 70 Lions members in attendance. It was successful thanks to the awesome support of the members from the following clubs; Blackie, Calgary Bow, Calgary Eastport, Calgary Heritage, Calgary Mountain View, Calgary North Hill, Calgary Woodcreek, Champion, Highwood, Okotoks and Nanton. On March 06, 2018, Lion Tim Beer from the Foothills Lions Club was presented his Guiding Lions Certificate by 1st VDG Tyler Bray. Also present was Foothills Lions club president, Sharon Schielke Lion Tim took his Lions Guiding Lion training on January 27, 2018 in Lethbridge, Alberta.
